Drove into work in Durham, neither me boss or workmate made it off their drives. 2 folk braked and slid out in front of me at junctions on 2 seperate occasions and just waved to say "thanks" as i spotted them both way before they came out.

Unbelievable what some folk think their tyres are capable of in the snow. frown

Couldn't get back up my street when i came home at half time though, had to ditch it at the corner, am thinking it's gonna get written off.

I should've bought a GT4 biggrin

We have a huge car park at work which made for lots of fun this morning. The car park circles the building and there was nothing around so I had lots of fun powersliding around it biggrin

All in all I was quite suprised at how ok my elise was in the snow....few times I broke really lightly but just kept going but you still know everything that is going on which is nice to have when the roads are so slippy.

I was loving it yesterday as well. There is a really wide corner down on the riverside that doubles back on itself, had great fun going around there looking out the side window. And our work carpark was pure heaven. Some times it pays to arrive early. You're right about the brakes though, they appear to do nothing at all in the snow, engine braking seemed to be the way to go.

Don't know if the rest of chester is the same, but the main roads through the estate didn't seem to have been done at all either. Certainly heard a few near misses at the bottom of the street, with one definate alloy > kerb interface by some unlucky person.
