Lotus in the Tunnel

If anyone was stuck in the northbound Tyne Tunnel queue tonight for a while, at around 6:20, it would seem a immaculate lookig cherry red Elan + 2 (I think) was the cause. I passed it travelling south being pushed out by a TT Disco.

Unluckly place to splutter to a stop...

Nice looking car though!

Ahh I was trying to figure out what it was as I past. I was stuck in the queue. I hope they weren't using those big rubber bumpers to push it out - can't do fibre glass much good I would think.

As far as I can tell it was pushed using the bumper of the Disco - they were travelling quite quickly aswell!
