Mark flavell At mandale triangle.
He is a fellow drag racer and a very good guy. He has done alsorts for me and when he knows its for dragracing and not to make money on etc he does it a bit cheaper. What are you after getting done mart ?? I could either phone him or have a word with him at the weekend when i see him at his party. If you want. There is also a block opposite brotton hall old show room that is mobile or someone did darens headders and made a good job. I think it is the lad with the gtir (alex i think) His dad. That was a good job too. You have loads of options there. smile

Thanks for the reply adam, Is the bloke in brotton, him with the white Merc sprinter with "mobile tig welding" on the side ?

I went up there last night to get his number off his van but it wasnt there !

All I am after is a backing plate for my new throttle body welding to my new inlet manifold.

Yeah, Im ok. Plodding around trying to sort out something quicker for my jeep. It started been a little boaring using it without gas.
So decided to go sbc and get a 6/71 supercharger for it. Then found out the engine i bought was only good for a drag car and only on the strip (alloy rods, very high comp and massive cam that reved to 9500rpm) So i sold it on and then got greedy and just bought a BBC 468ci (about 7.8ltr) and putting a 6/71 roots supercharger on that. Should liven things up bit. lol.
Sounds like you have been busy buying and not trying. Are you going to get cracked on with yours and get it sorted and ready to drive ? Wouldnt mind a look to see how the hell you are doing it. Wouldnt mind a ride in your new ride though !!!! (hint hint) I bet it sounds awsome does it ??
P.s Im getting my jeep made around 8" longer to fit this engine in and it might help it at high speed. Dont know what it will be capable of but if it is the 700+bhp that im expecting it might be the niffty little thing i want. smile

Next time your passing Simon's arcade PLAY 4 FUN pop in and get him or phil to give me a call.ill call u back.or p.m me your number as i don't know how to p.m. on here.we will have to have a couple of Garage parties ..is the super charger one of the belt driven turbo type or the conventional through the bonnet type? sounds a cheaper option than the"GAS CONVERSION"power on tap .
you just got me thinking now,Ive got a couple of turbos of a old gto wonder if one might be modded to fit the zzr1100 motor in the buggy,oh i do hope it will wheelie

Froggie. Ive sent you a message.
My supercharger is the one that sits on top of my motor and sticks out of the bonnet and makes a nice noise too. Just trying to get it together and have it sorted for febuary or march next year. Ready for the start of the racing season.
