Hi,
Has anyone used Aston Parts & Performance near Consett?
http://www.astonparts.co.uk/

I am thinking about using them to service my 528.
I got a leaflet from them through my front door last week, They are on the Goodgarage Scheme and have quite good feedback, But I guess anyone could right feedback about themselvs.
http://www.goodgaragescheme.co.uk/feedback/index.p...

Thanks in advance

The good garage scheme is pointless. Nothing to do with how good the garage is, simply how much Forte (flush) product they buy.

They seem to get some decent cars in and haven't heard anything bad about them. Just make sure they can reset the service indicator.

Alternatively you could try Autobahn in Hexham.

Hi
Your opinion of the scheme same as mine then.
To be honest I'm a bit unhappy with Autobahn. Last oil service was just as dear as main dealer, and a few other things have annoyed me.

This garage is just round the corner so I think I will give them a go, If it's good then great if not I dont go back. They bcant exactly fook up an oil service and MOT.

Thanks

They came from the Aston Workshop in Beamish and setup initially as an Aston indie.

I used them to do the annual service on my Chimaera the year before last when I was getting married and was therefore short of ££££ for an HHC service.

I printed the service schedule from the Track V Road website, lent them the Steve Heath manual and to be honest they'd have been hard pushed to go wrong.

Car felt good afterwards, and I also had them strip and paint the calipers & hubs to bling them up a bit for the wedding....and they made a cracking job of that.

Cheers
Andy

My boss gets his DB7 Vantage serviced there - no problems, good service and they seem to know their stuff.

Quite a thread resurrection - what reasons for staying away? What's changed?

Oh dear very old threadbanghead sorry guys pmsl. I was wanting to get my car looked at and had put consett in the search to look for decent garages that people rated, Currently there are two in consett to avoid that I have heard people talk about with it being a small place, One in delves lane and the one op was asking about.

So what was said...why avoid?

Only asking as a friend takes his DB7 Vantage their and has done for a few years now and as far as I'm aware is pleased with the work / service. If there's an issue it would be good to at least warn - PM me if you like?
