I'm heading over to North Skelton later this evening and may be able to have a look. Can you recall approximately where on the by pass?

I recall your headlamp covers coming loose and the drivers side quarter window coming away since they repaired it. Either they didn't use Sikaflex when they put it back together or perhaps they used an old opened tube of Sikaflex that had already started to cure in the tube. Either way I think you've got a case to claim for a replacement window.

Andy, I was wondering whether I had seen you walking up the hill around 7.45pm. I passed in a blue vectra. Sorry you had no luck. I drove the same route again this morning and kept a look out hoping I might see it glinting in the sun - 'fraid not.

when i looked all i found was a wheel and tyre and a freshly killed "mole"

maybe a bit of wind might flush it out.
