Thanks guys the Mercedes is an SL not SLK, idiot typing error sorry. I have been reading this site for a while and now I have a bit more time on my hands thought I would join up.
Elise is an S1 fitted with a supercharged K20A honda engine. More details and pics will follow but its safe to say that working on the Lotus has been my favourite thing to do since I bought it. Oddly the building and fettling amused me more than actually driving the thing but once I get out and use it I am sure that will change.

RS500 as a daily snotter
. My younger brother is a Cosworth owner and would love an RS500, albeit i'm sure it would be used as a weekend warrior due to his cleaning/detailing fetish...

Thanks Purdy I shall dig out my pics when i get home and start up loading them at the weekend (if it rains).
I am in Co Durham between Durham City and Teesside.
My RS500 is only a kind of daily drive, its also my pride and joy. It does get cleaned a lot but it hasn't been modified or detailed how some have been, I doubt I will ever get rid of it though. It was the first of my dream cars I ever managed to afford and I had promised myself one for years until I could justify one. You may think I am crazy but I could lose all the others and be happy I still had the RS.
I am in Co Durham between Durham City and Teesside.
