Looks like an s1 elise. I'm no expert but it seems they lost the back end coming off the roundabout on to the dual carriageway towards cramlington and spun off the road. Drivers side front wheel seemed the only damage and the guy didnt appear to be hurt.

Anyone off here?

Not me, but there I was starting to think....eee silly sod losing his back end, when I suddenly had a flashback to a few years ago.

Entering the roundabout in me Lotus, 70 on the clock, gripping nicely, bit more power, out the exit we go ...oops ......whoooooa ! yikes...sky ...ground...sky...I'm dead ! cry....ground....sky....BANG!....ground...I'M alive, but me car's dead. cry

Hope he's ok.... it can happen to any of us. whistle

Nightmare - I generally pass a silver and a blue s1 down that way on my normal commute.

Cliché I know, but you do get a lot of diesel on that corner after the bigger lorries have filled up at the Shell garage there and they overspill on the way out.

Roads were bloody greasy on the way home tonight as well - careful out there guys...

After days/weeks of sunny weather, then the first downpour, I'm always very very careful on the roads - rush hour this morning I was driving like a true wuss. I'll happily save my enthusiastic driving for the dry weekends out in the sticks, just not worth it IMO.

Bloke up my road bought a lovely Elise at the back end of last year. Bought it on the Thursday and by Saturday Morning it had been written off!!

Can happen in any motor tho' in the wrong conditions and in the wrong hands. You can't argue with the laws of physics!!
