Went down there today for them to look at my rotting 944, the man who spoke to me was very straight with me and didn't make me feel like he was out to get his moneys worth out of me. He told me that the sort of repairs that the car would need will out price the car itself and it'd not worth it...
So I may run the car for the next 6-12 months and then move on to something else...
Thumbs Up to Heaton Park!

RMB in Yarm did a seterling job on my mum's 307, full side was damaged, they had it absolutely spot on... and even gave ti a full, non-swirling valet in and out to boot.

Pricey if it's not going through insurance though...

They can paint them, if you want powder coat they outsource it, or used to anyway. Bloody good job done on mine.

Not ready for a refurb just yet (that'll be the kiss of death and I'll kerb one on the way home from work tonight), but good to know they do them. Did I read somewhere that powder coating was bad for certain types of delicate alloys, and that painting was indeed the best bet ?
