Got my ass outta bed this morning and went down to Croft to watch the MSA Rallycross. Quite a few different classes on the day, some wild machines and some kewl ones too.

Didn't realise Croft was so close to me, i literally turn left at the end of my road, go for 27 miles and turn right and am there. Well kewl.

Here's my photo's from the day :

205 with mi165 wheels running int he stock hatch class

306Turbo running in the super moddeds

6R4, this was a BEAST! Check that V6 loveliness.

More Vsickness, in a Clio

BIG feck off Turbo on a Puma

Escort Rally car. At least i think it's an escort

Again, is it a Marcos? Triumph GT6?

Junior Mini's, driven by 13-16 yr olds

Mk2 Mr2, was going extremely sideyways. A lot

Can't mind what this was but loving the sponge filter

Parked next to each other but worlds apart

And the star of the show

They had problems with it, got it running for 2nd last round and then did this.

Straight into some tyres, i was nearly in tears.

It sounded amazing at full chat off the line aswell. Lush as fook.

It was the Rallycross circuit so not using all the track but Croft looks amazing for a track day. Definitely gonna head down when there's more stuff on and will be getting a good drive round it in the near future.

Getting REALLY bad thoughts about a track car now. biggrin

Nice to see Liam Doran (in the RS200) performing to his usual standard. Looks like the good driver DNA didn't get passed down from the old man hehe

I was there for a couple of hours but left to watch the GP. The rain was just starting to fall as i got back to the car rolleyes

According to the commentator he decided to go out on slicks eek in morning practice and stuffed it into the armco, as you would! Knocked about front end, chassis damage and busted rad etc....pit crew cobbled together a new front-end with borrowed Escort cosworh rad, pipes etc...lasted a lap before hitting the finish line tyres. Bet they were over-joyed.
