hi all

Am just looking to part-ex my car against something in the bmw network.

Just wondering if any of you guys can reccomend a decent BMW salesman in the north-east (asking for a miracle?)

Thanks all

Hello,

i know 2 salesmaen really well and are always up for a deal.

Richard Dunn at Fawdingtons

Marc Christie at Stratstone.

Both really down to earth.

Bought cars from both

Good luck

hi

Looks like its in a sytner down in leicester, last time i was at Boldon BMW they said they could get most cars in for me that are within the BMW network.

I've got to part-ex my car against the new one which complicates things.

Beware when they say they can get cars in from in the network, if the cars in the garage thats in the same group as them then thats easy to do, if its in a different group like the one at sytner I would just deal direct as sytner will want to make money on aswell as BMW Boldon for example.

Give them a call, say which car your interested in and that you have a px but cant get down due to work so you need to do the deal over the phone. Give them the reg, mileage etc etc of your car and a genuine description of it.

See what they can come up with.

Just heard a good one about a local BMW dealer, although to be fair it could be any dealer. A couple of weeks ago a mate was offered £16K for his car against a £35k one.
He decided to think about it, anyway he gets a call from the dealer saying they need to move the car and have knocked it to £32k, and is he still interested. Well obviously who wouldn't be? So dealer gives him some figures.
Yes you guessed it new price for his trade in £12750. So mate is £250 worse off, nice one

The PX was always worth £12750 then but they must have forgot about the deal they had already quoted, if a px is offered at a stronger than market price the only way that is done is from the discount, once all the discount has gone then theirs no way of giving over market value for the px.
