Hi there, not met any of you northeast PH'ers yet but thought It would be fun to try and organise a karting day at either teesside or warden law (or an indoor circuit if thats preferred).

Not thought of any details yet but maybe end of July? or end of August, mainly because I'm on holiday for 3 weeks in August biggrin

What do you guys think?

Teesside Autodrome was good. We had really good fun, weather was absolutely dreadful though, made it much more fun!

Id be up for this.

Probably a bh to organise but I do lots of organising at work so am up for the challenge, paying for stuff will be a nightmare but paypal makes this easier.

Might need to be september to make it viable.

I enjoyed teesside's track and have never been to warden law so in the name of adventure that would be my fave.

I'd be up for this, probably best to do a 1 or 2 hr relay and we can have teams of 2 or 3.

I had been looking at the options, relay's/endurance type races seem the best value but need about 20-30 people to make them viable.

What about this for a bargain, Friday 25th July at Teesside, for an all inclusive price of £99!! Breakfast on arrival ( bacon sandwich & tea or coffee ), safety briefing, sighting laps, open pit lane until lunch, buffet lunch provided, open pit lane until 4.00pm, and then ..... a 10 minute qualifying session, and a 30 minute race in a twin engined kart, with the winner winning a free trackday in the future!! The winner can only win this once, but is free to compete in just the same way!! They are planning to run then at the end of each month, and all bookings to be made at http://www.teessideautodrome.co.uk/

The track is suitable for small to medium sports and saloons like Elises, Caterhams, MX5's, Clios, 205's, 106's, Minis, etc .......

Instruction will be provided on the day at a small cost........ Well, could this solve your idea??

Not sure if there is really enough takers, September would be the earliest I could do anything for now. frown

I was thinking of trying either the Grand Prix or ironman at Teesside Karting.

Both cost roughly £50 prices drop as they get more drivers booked in.

I shall try and get some more firm prices from them as soon as I come back from my Holidays.

How would Either the 11th or the 18th of October sound to people?
