Elwick Village Classic Car Meet ?

Drove through ELwick village (just off A19, near Hartlepool) about 17:30 last night and saw a few classic cars parked up on the village green - big classic yank + early beetle + more. They were parked on the green outside Spotted Cow pub, not in parking areas, so assuming there was something going on. Sun was shining so would have been nice night to hang out but I didn't have time to stop to see what was going on. Perhaps a local club meet .... anybody ?

Yes you missed a great night . over a 100 cars and bikes turned up inc: classic, kit cars , mini's , americal, jags, TVR, VX, lotus all types of bikes.

Hi If you look on Cleveland Kit Car there is a number of events localy.

Agree with original poster, I wish people would advertise these events on here, there are those among us who would really enjoy a sunny evening looking at other peoples P&J

Went along this evening for a look and what a cracking event this was. Everything from bike engined Mini's to Aston Martin V8 Volante's. Fanatstic weather, cars and turnout and the pub must have made a fortune.

Poor chap in a Red 355 Spider blew his engine 10 meters from the car park plumes of smoke everywhere... wouldn't like to be the bill payer for that one...

Saw a very nice MCoupe there. Saw it pulling in and wanted to talk to owner (i am an recent ex owner) but did not see him/her getting out.

Some great cars there. Loved the blue hotrod!

Estoril Blue does look good on the MCoupe and the hotrod was very

I saw it pulling out but never saw the owner walking around. Shame I missed the 355 blowing up bet that was quite an event!
