I was out for a run up Hartside on Sunday and saw an E30 M3 coming the other way in silver which was ironic as I have been considering buying one for the last couple of weeks. However, before I travel far afield I wondered whether anyone knew if there was an owner in the north east who would let me have a proper look at their car and maybe bag a passanger ride?

Also, does anyone know of any local ones for sale?

Will also try the M power section.

Hi Peter

Been out quite a bit in it the r500 given the nice weather. Had great fun on Stanfordham Rd yesterday with some big bikes up towards Stanfordham and saw Bill in his red VVC cat and a new looking yellow caterham but didn't recognise the driver.

I have a read a few E30 buyers guides over the last couple of days and they apparently rust to bits (scuttle panel). Therefore, the mini is going to have some money laundered on it before the wife gets it. Looking at exhaust, head cam possibly to give it some poke.

Still having fun in CSR?

Yes, I keep saying this, its a great touring car and very easy to drive. Compared to the R5 I seem to be more relaxed after a blat. maybe I have slowed a bit? You may even enjoy coming out for a blat with me now smile

I do miss the R5 though cry

I have been wondering about another car, as well as the CSR. Somit like a Busa engined one but I would not have somewhere to store it so just a pipe dream smile
