I know we only have the Tyne Tunnel really, but could it be a good event? eg, Tyre Kick + Drink and a Tunnel Run + Drive?

Sounds good, when you thinking of having it?

I'm only putting the idea out there, I wasnt going to actually organise anything serious myself. But if anyone else wants to...

So other than the Tyne Tunnel, are there any others? I frequently give some beans in the Cradlewell and Central Motorway underpasses but it tends to be a short lived experience.

I don't think there is, but it could just sort of be a laugh because we have hardly any tunnels

Its not exacly convenient but there is a great little tunnel used as the exit to the farm shop off the Corbridge roundabout on the A69.

Purdy - only you could manage that - the tunnels about 6 feet in diameter and has about a 5 mph speed limit.

lol.

Maybe we need a route to cover all of the above tunnels, should kill a couple of hours.

ps not tunnel related, but multi storey car parks always sound nice too, hmmm.

What about the tunnel that goes rond the back of the central station that takes you to JT Doves and the post office etc .

I went through the Tunnel last week on my way back from the Fins and Chrome show in Stockton and the acoustics
are great ???? Knocked it down into first and clogged it and the noise of the blower and exhaust was fantastic
so I think a tunnel run would be a great idea.

Bit tricky at the moment as I'm back in Wigan but if nobody sorts one then
I will on my return.
