I recently had some repairs done to my VX220 and they resprayed part of the front clam where it was scratched. It looks superb, however it makes the rest of my car look a little dull as the finish really is that good. Thing is I would like the whole car to look as good as the front now does, and I would like to use the same spray shop

Does anyone know what spray shop that they use, as I didnt see one at Dunn Street and I don't fancy going through them for the work as it is a little expensive.

If not, does anyone have any other suggestions? Maybe an orbital polisher (professionally done, obviously).

Thanks.

They definately have their own full sprayshop with oven's etc which I'm assuming will be somewhere down at Dunn Street. I know someone who's an apprentice for Vauxhall and he had his Mini sprayed there.

Also, wont a full detail by a specialist valeter help brighten up the paintwork.

On another note, Heaton Park Coachworks on Rothbury Terrace, in Heaton are an approved Lotus Specialist repairer so are adequately experienced, but I've heard their not cheap.

The bodyshop is on Dunn Street, if you drive down Dunn Street to Skinnerburn Road the bodyshop is the last building on your right before you would turn right onto Skinnerburn Road for service reception

Many years ago when I worked for BSM's Bedford Truck dealership the bodyshop manager there was Ronnie Rainbow biggrin

Sounds like a colourful character.

Does anyone recommend any valeters that could give the car a really good polish?

How about T Cut, elbow grease and finally a spot of pollish?

The best bodyshop in Newcastle--some would say the UK--is Bill Heaney Coachworks in the Ouseburn. They could paint your car or simply advise as to whether it can be polished and carry out the work.
