Can anyone recommend somewhere that knows what they're doing with a proper suspension setup? I want the full 9 yards with a laser alignment and corner weighing etc. Car is a cobra replica with adjustable Gaz coil-over shocks.

Cheers

If it's a new car I suggest that go for somebody who can do a full handling setup (i.e. find out how the car handles and what handling suits you, recommend how to achieve that using spring/damper/geometry settings). I can't recommend anyone specific in your area to do that, but you're looking for a chassis specialist not just somebody with a laser alignment system and a spec sheet. You will probably find this expertise in a local race team.

don't bother with corner weighting it's a complete waste of time on road cars, especially if you have a flexible chassis. In fact i'd argue that it's a complete waste of time on most road car derived race cars aswell. If you'd got an expensive rigid single seater with a central fuel tank it would then be worthwhile. As for a recommendation, sorry i haven't a clue, but I didn't want you spending money on something you're not going to see teh benefit from. 4 wheel alignment is a worthwhile thing though as long as they trim the car to your preference and they know the type of cobra you have and they know how it reacts to geo chnges. If they can't answer any of those questions well enough for you, you're better of at home with a piece of string and some generic settings to get you somewhere near and then start playing with the geo to suit you.

Thanks for the advice. Just spoken to Track Torque so got the car booked in. They reckoned corner weighing would be a waste of time too.
