No need to drive to Carlisle. Programmes are available at the Spectator car parks, which are on that map smile

I really hope you didn't go to Archy's Rigg like some poor sod i won't name (hello !)

After about 20 of the historics came through the stage was stopped after Jimmy McRae/Andy Richardson in the Stobart 911 went off. The "Spectator Information" car went through the stage and drove straight past me and a few others...

After an hour i gave up and headed back to the car where i found out what had happened. As i didn't fancy waiting 4 hours for the next run and i'd already pushed my luck driving on the forest roads (bloody low sumps !) i headed for home.

If you went, i hope you had a cracking day smile

actually did go to archys rig but for the 3.20 and 4.40 stage no historics because of the earlier accident, still enjoyed it though.

as for the sump issue, had no problem in the l200 warrior hehe what were you driving

Just the Octavia vRS but they're a bit notorious for having low sumps..i know a few that have cracked on bumpy country lanes never mind a forest track that was rougher than the rally stage ! biggrin

I went the the afternoon Archy's Rigg section in hope of seeing the classics too but didn't realise they weren't running until the landrovers had gone through, all the spectators had gone and the marshalls started taking the orange arrows down.

Was a 'bit nippy' up there too frown

The road to the stage was ok in the E30 strangely wink with it's barge suspension, got stuck behind a couple of Max Power cars with their deep front splitters ....

Cheers
