Want Pictures Edited?
Discussion
I see people posting pictures of their cars and they are not quite there. All they need is a wee bit of editing.
I am willing to edit pictures for free. If you are interested email me a photo and I will do my best.
The pictures must be of your own car.
Things you might want rid of...
License plates
Background 'noise'
Unwanted reflections, etc.
Here is an extreme example of a Jaguar XJ220 touched up by myself.

WTF?
Mate, this is advertising - not allowed - read the posting rules. [unless you're doing all this for free, cos I have a thousand photos that need your urgent attention.]

I was going to post a similar thing asking for any any images to play around with, as i'm learning how to use photoshop at the moment and need all the practice i can get!
I am offering to do it for free and it pretty much is advertising, but I am not doing millions of them!
I thought the idea was good as it helps those out, who don't have the skills, have quality pics of their precious machines!
I use Photoshop Elements 2.0 right now because its adequate for what I'm needing.

As a graphic designer with over ten years experience using photoshop on this kind of thing I am willing to give tutorial advice to anyone who wants to do this kind of thing.
Trust me it's not that hard and with a bit of time all of the above could be made to look a lot better.
(Did I just come across as a smug b
d? Sorry. wasn't intentional)
P.S. DJRoadBoy... Evening Dan. I'm getting some nice shiny brakes sorted next month so will be popping up to get them fitted. If the Mrs will let me then I may also turn up with some S2 Bilsteins too (wishful thinking).

Its always nice when you offer to help out fellow PHers and someone jumps straight down your throat.
Steadyrock, I accept it was a genuine offer, at least when you've edited the photos there are no moving parts that can spill oil, drop off or burst into flame.

Far from it Bob. I used to think you were a canny bloke
Strange that, many of us used to think the same about you

Ray, please indicate where you think the problem sits with my post in a new thread if you wish.
Now, as this is Steadyrock's thread, I propose that we leave it for a discussion on photos.

Its ok. As neither of them have ever been customers of mine (nor would I want them to be) their opinions mean very little.
Nobody is perfect and mistakes are made but it is how you deal with those mistakes that make the difference.
Mr Zebra has emailed people on the sly to try and put them off using a business he has no direct experience of but I'm pleased to say that most people have the good sense to look at an overall reputation rather than the inane ramblings of a sad man. And they have left happy customers.
I have a very sucessful business with a lot of happy customers and this is not by chance. So they can do as they wish. I suppose they need something to fill their lives.
