I would like to announce this year's spring trackday to take place Monday 21st April. This is only open to either 7 type vehicles (Caterham/Westfield etc) and Elises. Sorry guys but little cars only smile

This will be the usual format of open pit and will include lunch.

So its time to finish those winter fettling jobs, get those engines run in and warmers off the tyres and come and have some track day fun including most excellent banter and hopefully some sunshine

Cost is the same as last year at £85 per car (£25 per additional driver) and this assumes we get 30 cars. Obviously if we have a deficit there may be a modest increase

Ok to the important bit.

If you want to attend please do the following:

We need a deposit of £20 paying into the following account by 14th March:

Email me first for the bank details (peter at pellis dot co dot uk) with APRIL TRACKDAY in the subject

If you want additional drivers please also mention this in the email.

Once I have deposits I will then ask for the remaining payment including any additional drivers

Peter

Hmmmmmmmmmmm Probably a bit too big compared to say, an Elise

What I would say though, if there was enough interest why not organise a TVR trackday there, I am more then happy to help

The run-off areas are very small, one car length and you're in the barrier. I wouldn't put a TVR on that track. A couple of years ago I tested the track with the intention of organising a TVR day but decided it was unsuitable.

Yeh i was there last night and just looking at some of the marks that the karts had made on the run off grass showed the problem. Looked like a kart had spun and only went 1-2 meters on the grass and had hit the tire wall.

Most of the time your not going quick enough for it to be a problem. The only area is the end of the back straight into the long right but then there is plenty kitty litter

Can I assume, by the lack of email, that you have changed your mind?

Sorry about that. Should get my proxies tomorrow but they have been on back order for a while. I'm going to wait to see if they turn up before I commit. If the space is still available on Monday I will let you know either way.

Thanks
