Has the Focus ST bumpers on it... making it look like an ST, which makes it a replica

Hmmm, not in my understanding of the word 'replica' it doesnt.

If it had a Focus ST engine, focus ST brakes, focus ST gearbox etc etc, then that would make it a Focus ST replica. What did it start as, a 2.0 ghia, or a 1.6 zetec or somehting?

Welcome aboard. Looks like you've made a good job of it. Only thing I was wondering is what's missing in front of the sideskirt where it looks like its should meet the arch?

Haters?

I never said anything about hating anything.

From my point of view I just don't get the 'look alike' game. I like performance cars, i like the look of _some_ performance cars but I'm more interested in how they drive than how they look, so forgive me for not being interested in putting body modifications on a standard car to make it look like something else but not perform like it, iyswim.

To be honest I'd be more interested in making an ST look like a titanium - I'm considering another focus (my work car is a Focus Diesel, I tried the 1.6 and found it a bit flat after my old honda engined rover, the diesel is fine for motorway munching). I'm put off the ST and RS simply because of the nickability factor.

Or maybe I'm just old and grumpy, you decide.

Fair play on you! Each to their own I suppose... would be great giving the ST the Titanium look... hmmm sleeper!

Cheers everyone for the warm welcome!

Yes im missing bits of the front skirts, this is due to a big cockup... Should hopefully have some soon!

Cheers

The colour makes it look better than a real ST IMHO - ace! cool

What's the interior like - i take it it's fairly specced up being a titanium? We have them at work for company cars, the 1.8 Sport is quite gutless, so lucky you got a 2.0.

Cheers,
Rob.

Alright Rob... Titaniums get the 1/2 leather seats, carbon effect dash, ac.... its pretty much an ST inside without the Recaro seats

Going by the age of 21 the insurance on an ST is probably a mind eye watering so much easier to go with a smaller engine and make it look like the faster one, cheaper running costs etc etc.

Focus RS will be quite nickable doubt the ST is high on peoples lists due to the amount of them out their.

Good looking car and like the colour alot.

You hit the nail on the head there! Tried getting insured on an ST and it was like 4k

Its 1200 for the 2.0L

Plus looking like the ST is better than fitting some gash fibreglass tat on the car IYSWIM.
