Discussion
As I do on all the forums I sign up too I like to introduce myself first before contributing to the forums. So here we go and may this be the start of a long and fruitful relationship haha.
My names Ash, 22, live in Darlington and work in IT currently drive a 92', 3 Series BMW (320I Coupe). I've been part of the modded car scene for several years now and had various cars with varying amounts of work carried out on them. Some may say I'm part of the 'boy racer' culture I like to think of myself as being an enthusiast who's passionate about cars, like yourselves...granted our taste in cars and modifications probably differ some what.

Sadly funds have put a hold to the fitment of a turbo hence the "Near Future" comment, I'd also like to up my nitrous, couldn't say when it's going to happen it's been built into the overall spec of the car and as soon as funds permit it'll be done. I seem to spend more time and money on the up keep at the minute...getting it through it's MOT was costly there's so much I'd like to do to the car. It'll get there just going to take time...
It's currently pushing 250ish

Kicker - not my cup of tea, and possibly the same for many PH lot, but putting that aside, your opening comments are polite and friendly enough, and nobody could criticise your time and effort put into that thing, top class if thats what you're into.
Probably cost about 5 times what mine did after having all that done, so good on you.
Welcome !!

Cheers for the warm welcome guys, the cars like marmite you either love it or hate it. I personally don't mind what reaction it gets at the end of the day I bought the car for myself and enjoy it.
Adom, to be honest, never! It's purely there for shows infact the boots rarely open outside of show season.
David, I purchased the car off my mate who used to live in Ingleby and work at the local Mitshi garage. The cars had various incarnations over the years...you may have also seen his other rides pottering round an E30 (Same colour as my 36) and a totally insane Boso Zoku style Jap van.

Yeah, I know the E30 too, have seen that around. Lived very close to me when i was at me dads. Havent seen the van about i dont think.Get it down to "cars in the park" in April (pretty close to us, only Harrogate way) as i am sure others would be interested in looking and more importantly hearing your setup. There are a few of us northeasterners going down in convoy with various pickup along the way including scotch corner.

David, will definitely have a run over to Cars in the Park when is it? Surprised you haven't seen the Van kicking about it does tend to stand out...

Jamz, I loved the Evo/Jap style graphics at first but after a few days I found myself slowly detesting them and realising they didn't fit in with the cars style. Like most graphics though you don't really know what they'll look like till fitted...
Couple of pics with them on, excuse the quality taken on my camera phone and still had a load of cutting compound round the door handles after re-spraying the door, rubbing down etc...

Alright Andy, it's taken me long enough to sign up been meaning to do it for awhile. Lifestyles pretty hectic as you've no doubt noticed from my lack of posts on BOO (When I had my Bravo).
Might be sporting a new ride shortly, funds permitting...gonna speak to my bank manager next week to see if it's feasible.

Baby Blue RX7 for the win
