TVR Meet

Sorry if there is already a thread on this, but when is the next TVRCC meet in the NorthEast?

I think they are always the second sunday of the month at the wheatsheaf woolsington near the airport but you can check on the TVRCC web site .

that's right, second Sunday around 12.00 - 12.30. Generally good turn out, 20 cars plus on occassions. Talk to 'The Surveyor' he will fill you in. ( on the detail that is, we are a very friendly bunch)

There are normally lots of proper TVR's but you do get the odd one or two that are missing a couple of cylinders and the engine is not V shaped...whats all that about????

I know this is a weird question, but unfortunately I am not a TVR owner, I just love them! Is anyone going out from Newcastle that wouldn't mind an enthusiastic passenger?

I have wanting to go to one of these meets since the start but I always miss them either at work racing or plans with 'er in doors. I must try harder !

Next North East region meeting is 9th March, at the Wheatsheif from 12 noon til approx 2.00 when we'll be having a quick drive out to join up with Tees Valley and Cumbria regions at Langley castle near Haydon bridge for coffee and cakes.

We had a great turn out for the last meeting with 22 TVR's and a very nice Esprit GT3, so with a little help from the weather again, we'll hopefully have another car park full.

I'll put more detail on the TVRCC North East forum, but for those new guys and non-TVRCC members, just drop me an Email and i'll give you all the details.
