Putting a bigger motor in my E30 and will require an exhaust made from scratch to suit, including modifying headers if I can't do it myself!

Any recommendations? - I've previously used Blue Flame for a really good one-off, but the car was drivable. That's the kind of quality I'm after though, rather than a badly configured Powerflow Mandrel Madness™ effort.

Class outfit & remarkably inexpensive. They made us a fully repackable custom twin pipe system for the turbo 2 in 2 days. They were also making some systems for the world touring car bmw's so should have an idea or 2 for you!

Definately agree. I work next door and always have a nose about the cars they have in. They really do get everything from classic jags, touring cars, highly tuned jap cars to fancy fabrications for hot rod and harley davidsons.

They can also do full titanium exhausts too.

I'll have to explain that the tatty, stickered-up E30 is just a jig car then. Otherwise I'll feel ashamed!

And another thumbs up for AAS. Top bloke in there who really know his stuff. Sorts my cars out a treat everytime I go!

Last time I was in there he had a M3 German DTM with a M5 engine in - he was making full custom headers & exhaust for it! The week before he had a Le Mans racer getting checked over wink

Another vote for AAS here. Did me a one off 4-2-1 equal length system for my ZZR powered Indy. Amazed by the quality of the welding, general form and performance of the finished system.

I spoke to Stuart at AAS earlier and was very impressed with the quote and information given. He's confused me with single vs twin-pipe systems on a 6 cylinder engine though, compared with information from other professionals. Why isn't there a rulebook for these things? lol

I've used exhaust-a-fix in Darlington before tel: 01325 362271

Haven't used them for a couple of years but might be worth a call.

It'll be faster than that heavy barge of yours when I'm done mate... smile

Still a fair way off Andy though!

Back to the exhaust, I won't use Exhaust-a-Fix as I'm not welcome, sent a mate in for some money I was owed by one of the fitters so I don't think he's speaking to me!

Anyone used VSport in Boldon? (Dave.A in this thread http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... )
