what is is you are trying to do?
Remove the cat from your exhaust or fitting a part that has already had the cat removed?

I did mine myself on the TVR.

does it need the old one cut out and re-welded in? I would be happy to fit it for you, wether it needs just bolting in or tig welding in I can do it.

Thats the problem, i cant get under the car! and also i would have no idea what i was doing once under there!

Thanks for the offer Dave... where are you based? Also what would you charge to fit it? Please PM me if you dont wish to put it up on here. It is just a direct replacement for the standard one it says so no welding required.

Heres a picture of it...

Thanks guys!

Yeah he fitted my exhaust when i got that done, was very pleased with the service etc!

I will give him a call tomorrow to see about pricing. I was really after somewhere a little bit more local (middlesbrough). Also my car needs a service in around 1500 miles at which i need to get my MIL light reset too. I was thinking of waiting until then and have them fit it but then again i thought they will charge me dealer prices!? Although HHC seem to be very reasonable, may give them a quick call too.

Bob, hope all is well. wink

I have a very low Racing Jack you can borrow if you fancy tackling it yourself and can always lend a hand if required. Feel free to drop me a PM.

Another alternative is my brother works nights at a Main Dealer and has access to their workshop, ramps etc. providing you don't mind doing the job after 9pm'ish, shouldn't take the pair of us too long.

dont want to drag things off topic too much but have decided to wait until i know where ill be this summer, no reason i couldnt go out and get one but i may be moving to dubai towards the back end of summer, if thats the case i cant really see the point in putting myself in a couple of grand extra in debt only to have to sell it in 6 months, id rather keep the octy and go over there with cash in hand.

Im with Elephant (Admiral sister group) im finding them poor when it comes to modifications.

They want £150 for changing the exhaust on my Exige S.
