This is also the launch of the new PH Show that is destined to vastly increase PH membership. Sorry to be negative but I think there are already too many new PHers. Just take a look at crap posts on NEPH over the last few days. Nobody really knows each other anymore.
Sorry you feel like you do Bob regarding the new members but I am not a stranger to a lot of the top forums in the world (truth). We do the business not the B/S. I can post pics if I wanted to brag. Not a load of verbal diarrhoea like some established members fool you.If this forum starts heading to reality I may share my work and projects.
Regards Al
Al, this forum was full of trusted members who mostly knew each other from driving events and pub meets, that all changed a few months ago. We're seeing something I predicted would happen after I listened to the new owners of PH speak of their hopes for the future. PH is becoming a victim of its own success, what was once a forum of sports car enthusiasts has become a numbers game. The more people join and post the more money the owners receive from advertising and the bigger the rates they can demand. The desire to keep things focused on petrolheadism has given way to money. Sad times all round. This show is part of that PH future and that is why I begrudge it.
