Alright chaps, just seen a mention of a dawn raid happening. I'm guessing this is for old faces only as it seems to be a bit more hush-hush than the last one (that took place the day I joined this forum hence just missed it).
Don't want to seem like "toys out the pram", I'm just wondering if this is the shape of things to come this year as thats the main reason I'm hanging about on here when theres nowt happening during the bad weather? Can't wait for the spring.
I don't use my 2nd car in the winter anyway, and its supposedly sold and getting collected on Sat, so couldn't make this one anyway but as I've said I'm just curious to what the plans are regarding newbies. Ta.smile

P.S. In light of recent events and characters popping up from nowhere, if theres any suspicion on the above, as I admit its a coincidence my car goes this weekend, you can see my old advert on 911, 964, page3 of the classifieds, (white, red wheels).

Like I say, not whinging, just wondering.

No its true, Zebras taking bookings for the December 2008 run, like he said, apologies he couldnt organise it sooner but he's got too much going on, so 10 and a half months is all the notice we get.

(I'm joking everyone).

Nice one Marky, classic 'doh', we all do them from time to time.

PS There is a delete option you realise.

Mornin' whygee and people, glad people seen the funny side!

I seen the delete option but, as I've never used it I didn't know if it might delete the text but leave the heading and contributor, that would've looked even worse.

That was a proper Homer moment though!!

Incase you hadn't guessed I'm a big Simpsons fan. Tada for now.smile

Sorry you missed out on the last run of the year - would be good to meet you as first impressions indicate that you're genuine. Will stay in touch.

Evenin' chaps,

Cheers Mark, this years my year of relaxation (although I've been saying that for the past 2 or 3 years), so I'll be up for most things. I'll have a new car by feb, fingers crossed, but it may not be how I want it so I'll see nearer the time if its ready. Not planning a big project but, whatever used car you buy, you like to make it your own, don't you.

Evenin' zebs, like the new motor!! I'm thinking of getting some of those nice wrap around bumpers for my next car but, not sure if they'll catch on. They're a bit too modern and out there!!

'Out there' is too true, out there by a few feet as well.
