V-Power shortage?

Just been to Shell Byker, Benton Park Rd and Gateshead, all out of V-Power

I tried redhugh bridge on sunday, they were out...Said they had ordered it but didnt have a date for delivery.

I was heading south, eventually got some south of Hartlepool.....114p a litre!

Ive heard on the grape fine, its next weeks for garages getting any.

None at Whitemare pool or Tynemouth - haven't looked at the new one on the coast road yet. I had to put normal stuff in so the car is probably going to take the huff now

Went to the Shell garage just up from South Gosforth roundabout last night and they had no V Power and only 1 pump open for normal petrol. Loads of diesel though...

Hi Guys.... Have u tried going in and asking...?

I turned up at a shell garage for v-power the other day, all they had was unleaded pumps on, but when I asked the guy they let me fill from a closed v-power pump, I think he said they close the pumps when they get to a certain number of ltrs left, but the odd tank doesn't make much diffrence and if they are nice they may let u fill up. Helps if u turn up in ur sporty number too!

Well apparently the cut off point at which they close the pump is 1000 ltrs, my average fill is 30ltrs...hardly draining the dregs...plus I'm sure shell don't just pump the stuff up from their tanks without filtering it! Nevermind...each to their own, as u said.

Hartlepool were out of U/L (and i assume V-Power) a few days back. I saw the line of cars waiting and went to Tesco for some 99 Super instead.

they have it at gosforth and kingston park according to greenergy website

Durham and consett too, didn't realise it had made it this far north yet!

According to that list it is at Kingston Park as well.... but it wasnt the last time I tried, granted though that was over a year ago.

Thought I'd a double check so rang the store direct. Sure enough they now have the 99-RON stuff at pumps 6, 7, 16 & 17 and £105.9 per litre, certainly cheaper than V-Power.

Yep I used pump 16 today....105.9 (IIRC) which isnt too bad at all...
