I have a plan.

It involves selling all my toys and selling the wifes toys aswell wink

That means the Lincoln, the Mini and the Cackavan is going to be replaced by two new toys. I'm planning on getting a family car and a Mercedes SL500.

Only thing is, when would be the best time to sell up. The cackavan will probably only shift in Spring, the Mini will go reasonably quickly and I don't know how to shift the Lincoln - any ideas?

As you say the Lincoln will be the problem. I doubt there is a good or bad time really but perhaps early spring when all them Dad's are looking for new tow vehicles for their family caravans.

What's the second toy? Something cheap and fun like a turbo-ed MX5 or perhaps a Jag XK or XKR

I'll be round this weekend with the t-cut. I'm not convinced that t-cut will polish out the wheel curbing though.

The Lincoln.

Croft.

I just can't see it - it'll never work. It'll fall over and people will die.

The only thing the Lincoln has in it's favour is LPG - the equivalent of 30mpg with a 5.4 V8.

The second car will have to be more family based, I'm thinking M3 or M5. As she's selling her cackavan, she'll have the decision on that one - with a bit of guidance from me. smile

We URGENTLY need another 'fleet' ATOM.

Thus, when Zebs is getting his re-shod and serviced we still have something to play with. Keep the Lincoln for the queue of personnel in the 'waiting room'.

Seems obvious to me.

Huh....

The caravan could easy be turned into a mobile Bacon butty, hot tea+coffee dispenser, to follow the hoons.

re the atom,

i think i should have a supercharged one coming in today if the guy accepts my derisory offer.............

form an orderly line for test drives he took me out in it yesterday and i was immpresed if not crying when i came back but i guess that had something to do with the fact i was brave/stupid not taking a crash helmet.......

I nearly sold the Mini this morning, I only put the ad in last night.

Really, the Mini can go last, it's the other two that need to go first so I've withdrawn the ad for the Mini. I don't fancy spending xmas looking for a new car, especially when I don't know what that new car will be. I know it wont be an Atom - I can't fit the family in it.

I'm thinking a sensible car that's cheap to run. I might even dare say....diesels! Arghhh!

The Lincoln was done already when I bought it and if I knew who done it, I would put a shotgun to their head. It's cost me a fortune to get it running half decent and I still think the ECU is not the right one.

I got the Jeep done by Fred Henderson in Durham and he was excellent, don't know if he still does it.
