Big thumbs up to kwikfit
Discussion
Now I am aware that this may shock or even revolt
some of you guys but I have to give praise to the Kwikfit fitters on Westgate Road.
Not only did they do me a cracking deal on 4 Pirellis but did a full 4 wheel laser alignment (at a fraction of the proper cost) on their top of the range Hunter machine, keeping me informed all the way along the line.
Fantastic value and fantastic service - well done

They are true gents in that place. They once lent me a strange sized allan key that i needed when i was doing some work on my car. I live about 2 miles away from them, and they let me take it home on the promise i'd bring it back later!
Very helpful and i will definitely use them again.

I actually had some very prompt, courteous service my local Kwikfit (Andover) a few months back. Only a routine puncture repair but they fitted me in at no notice, reasonable price and polite. I guess you'd expect that of most places - maybe I went in with low expectations, but decent chaps nonetheless.
Aren't quickfit a franchise? Never thought is was fair to label them as s***e across the board
Fulwell Kwik Fit on Newcastle Road, Sunderland are great and have done plenty of work on my Elise. I started using them just to pop the studs out of the CAT. They did it in about 2 minutes (and for free) so I went back

Ooh, when did Asda get in to the car servicing business then?
Just making a point, Kwikfit hardly rates as a centre of excellence for the servicing of high end motors.davy9449 said:
They once tried to charge my £16 for a puncture!
I mean SIXTEEN
ING QUID!!!!!
Needless to say, I walked away.
Yes with the wheel!
So how much would you have been prepared to pay? I aint had many punctures but I've never paid less than £12 to get one repaired.I mean SIXTEEN

Needless to say, I walked away.
Yes with the wheel!

They have to inflate the tyre, locate the puncture, remove the tyre and make the repair, then remount the tyre on the rim with a new valve and then balance it - all for £16, sounds reasonable to me.

If you take yours to say a BMW I would be expecting to pay a lot more than this.
