Hi people. Maybe about to aquire a S1 111s and just considering the servicing options locally. I'm aware of F1's and HHC. Are there any independent specialists in the area?

f1 for me every time. Had a service 2 weeks ago and shopped around a fair bit. By the time you tot up the prices + parts + VAT etc etc, they were similar from most places. Could have saved a few quid here and there if I really tried, but f1 I know I can trust.

Do you have a list of F1's service prices as I'm sure the last time I check we were over 50% cheaper for all the fixed price services.

Nah, can't remember the price I paid in the end, I'll have the paperwork at home, but it included a few other bits n bobs (MOT)

Hi guys - I'm in accord with Sean - F1 is where I get my liz serviced: Chris' knowledge is tremendous.

Some people also go to HHC - the other registered lotus dealer; Richard there is also quite knowledgeable - he fitted my hurricane.

I've always taken my performance cars to Woods in High Heaton, not sure what I'll do with the elise when the time comes, to be honest I've heard good and bad things said about most 'reputable' garages, and there are a few 'incidents' which spring to mind that have been discussed here before about levels of service from more than one garage.

i have alway used HHC as thats were i bought my elise from and to be honest they have been great and its the best service i have had from a dealer
i have been in to f1 as they really are the closest but never felt happy in their (my personal feeling only)
although i have heard JPS are highly recomended

I can vouch for Dan @ JPS.
Did the inspection on my Series 1 back in July before I bought it.

Has since done a C service for me for a very reasonable £490 (correct me if I'm wrong Dan. NOt check the CC bill of late.)
And just this Saturday he fitted my lovely new Larini - possibly the best sound ever.

I had heard differing reports about F1.

Every garage seems to get mixed reports. I've heard far from complimentary feedback about Jude Performance. Every one to their own.
