I work for a school in Consett for children with severe learning difficulties. We are holding a sponsored abseil off the Tyne Bridge 2nd December. Money collected is to take some of the kids skiing.
The land below the bridge where the boat is has been sold for developement so this could be one of the last abseils held there. Price with a T shirt is £25 and any sponsorship collected would be gratefully accepted.
It really is a for good cause for children that need all the help we can give them.
