Hi all, last shout for folks wanting to take part in our final trackday of 2007. We have five spaces left and for those who don't know, we run an open pit-lane day for maximum track time, 20 cars on track at any one time so no crowding, instruction and technical support available. The day is marshalled superbly by Croft circuit and is usually enjoyed by a regular bunch of northern 'Petrolheads'! Give a call to Jill on 01434 601666 to come along on Wednesday 19th September!
Best regards to all, Tony Abrams

Desperately saving up the last few pennies.

Will give you a ring tomorrow to see if you'll let my humble little Mini join in, but regardless, I'll be popping down to see you all again.

Hi Mark, not a problem to come along with the Mini. We had two attending in July and we already have one coming along to this day. Give Jill a call and she'll sort things for you!
Cheers, Tony

I think its £200 if I remember. Not sure if there are spaces though. Best to give Hexham a ring and check.

I have got my name down on the reserve list of this. Hope to make it on track or at least see a few of you there.

Harvesting seasion has been and gone, I hope! Cant afford to that again nono

If I get on track, I will be taking it nice and easy as it cost me about £3k for that combine harvester impression.

Hope you all have a good time, I was up there at a silly early time on Sunday setting up a caravan & awning for the horse ride which was also going on!

I've been told to be there for 8.30-8.45 for the briefing etc.
It may take a bit longer for me to get out on the track though as i'm expecting to have to take my sports exhaust off (hope not)!
Can't wait now though!! bounce

Does anyone know if there is a shell garage near the circuit, and also if there is a facility for pumping your tyres up at the circuit?

Nearest Shell garages are on the A1 at High Brough Moor just south of Scotch Corner (but on the northbound carriageway) or at Low Gates which is on the A167 towards Northallerton. There is also one in the centre of Darlington.

Croft Circuit's postcode is DL2 2PL.

Last time I tried the croft postcode in the satnav I ended up at the farm at the bottom of the circuit - on the wrong side of the fence!

Usually there is an electric pump available.

Looking forward to it now bounce

That's why you should never trust SatNavs! wink
