A chav has started parking his blinged up Suzuki (!) in the cul de sac where I live - obviously it is untaxed ( so by process of elimination uninsured!!) he then disappears into the council estate half a mile away.
Today I phoned Plod who basically didn`t want to know, wasn`t even interested in the reg! He told me to ring the DVLA - wot at 7.00pm? as it wasn`t a police matter - surely if you or I were driving we would get done for said offence? I have put a note on his windscreen telling him that the bules & DVLA have been informed, what do you reckon should be my next step? Let his tyres down perhaps?? I just get so pi**ed off with these ars***es flaunting the law all the time!!

I can empathise and have suffered the same behaviour but the reality is that the chav has as much right to park his car in your street as you do. As for tax, etc. the DVLA manage this issue and the call to plod needs to come from them so that advice was right.

What ever you do, don't let his tyres down or attack his property in any way. If you do you'll find he suddenly can afford tax and insurance by way of the money the courts order you to pay him in damages.

You don't need to call them. Try this link to report the vehicle online. I agree the police should be more concerned if the car is being used every day, but that's their choice.

Hope it gets sorted to your satisfaction.
