Its the time of the year that the council seem to repair most roads at the expence of us getting cracked windscreens and paint damage. Lets make a list of where these road works are....so we can avoid them.

1. Lingdale to Whitby Moor Road.

Not quite related but has anyone been through South Gosforth roundabout recently? What the hell is going on? Cones everywhere for no obvious reason and causing chaos!

A171 guisborough to whitby has been done in a few places, notably:
  • the nice wide single carriageway stretch from Middlesbrough Road roundabout (with the new services) to the Whitby road roundabout,
  • The section from the Danby turnoff to the Grinkle turnoff (bloody shut on Friday morning, had to divert along the coast via Loftus)
  • The section past Scaling Dam
A170 (from Pickering):
  • The hill/dip through Ebberston, and Ebberston Main St (there was a Convoy system here on Friday morning, in the Afternoon just traffic lights
  • Entering Snainton past the car dealership

Comprehensive enough for you? wink

The road exiting Wolviston onto Wynyard Rd. There's none on the A19 overbridge (can't think why... wink) then they continue almost to the junction with the Wynyard Rd.
