Right chaps, - have just come into forum from porsche


I am going to take it on my head to sort and run this…. I know I am busy, busy, busy at work and a million miles away but I can spare a few sec`s to sort all this out…..What a bloke I am eh?

To Note: - I ain`t home till Thursday 2nd August so if you get out before I get home enjoy!

So the plan is to get as many Porsche owners from the North East and any surrounding areas out in there pride and joy! (As some of us on the forum keep them locked away too bloody much and I want a go of the GT2!)
I will try my best to bring the weather home with me, as it mid forties here and lovely. T-shirt, shorts and aviators weather.

Where would you lads prefer to go and when? I suppose weekend is always best for everyone?
I aint very good in the kitchen so some one else can make the sarnies! ….I will have plenty of Russian vodka and spirits for after…cars locked away of course though……

Alright C - not sure yet but Ive been looking at TVRs and Nobles. Im not doing the miles in my Porsche, doing about 5k a year and would like something more focused to drive. Ideally it would be a 996 GT3 but just cannot stretch that far so a Sagaris or a GTO 3R fits the bill although i still need to do some more research into both cars.

it will prob be next Spring though so alot can happen. Got a ZX6R for my adrenalin until then.

Nice choice. Always had a soft spot for the Sagaris myself , superb looking motor with performance to match.

Why not look at a 964 Carrera 2 and go down the RS route... a little weight saving here and there, RSR Exhausts, Coilovers etc. would make a fantastic weekend tool/trackday weapon.

Are you sure you're not driving my car? I've got the the 996TT X50 in black. I'm up for a run out sure.

I'll definately be up for it. Just got back from a runout today with the NE Lancer EVO lads (I had an VIII before the turbo) and it was absolutely fantastic. You'll know EVO are to be well respected on tight, twisty and bumpy roads but the turbo held it's own no problem.

Can't wait for a group blast again. I reckon a couple of my mates will come too - another 996tt and a Boxster S.
