Crashed my car today frown

Anyone know of a GRP specialist which can advise on the repairability of this? Does anyone here know if this looks sortable? Replacement bonnets are pretty much unavailable I believe (it's not a standard Austin Healey bonnet).

Nasty!

No idea on a local bodyshop who could manage that sort of repair.

But Tifosi in Devon are making a Frog replica at the minute. Might be worth a call to them?

I am just about to take my Elise to Pride n Joy Classics in Middlesbrough for some GRP repairs. I would also concider Falcon Engineering, again based in Middlesbrough as they are very good.

If you have stacks of money or its going through insurance, the best place would be Heaton Coachworks, but they are expensive.

I am paying for mine out of my own pocket, so Pride n Joy Classics for me.

Mine will be with them all week, if you want to go and see them working on some GRP and ask questions.

Excellent, thanks for those leads. It's having to go through insurance because I hit an old dear in her Motability car. It doesn't actually belong to her and she wants a proper job with inspections etc, so she wasn't buying the 'send me the bill' offer. Which is fair enough really.

In that case, I would take it to Heaton Coachworks. Sorry to hear about the bump.

In that case, speak to Dane at Falcon Engineering and tell them I recommended them to you. Their bodyshop is excellent and employe skilled crafsmen who are paid well to keep them. When I was in the other week, they were working on a Bentley and speaking to them, they were booked up for about the next 4 weeks.
