For those of you who've been to chez zebra and have seen Topless Geoff's cobra self build, just a quick note to let you know the engine is now in place and looks absolutely stunning. Exhausts due to be fitted over the weekend with wiring taking place after that.

He's hoping that with a good run of work, he'll have it ready in time for THIV.

Will try to get some photos tomorrow and post them.

Will have to make the photos do for the moment - will record the noise in a week or so; it's not ready to be started yet.

Jimbo - will phone you over the weekend.

Bomb - hope you're ok you salty sea dog.

Can I suggest that you grab some tissues before looking at the following photographs as they fall into the category of automotive porn.

Enjoy

I don't think there's a 'jizzalloveryourkeyboard' smilie, but this is one of the few occasions that it would be useful!

looks good..cool......is it a Dax ? with a short block motor ?
I have sold mine now but they are fantastic fun to own and use, great sound and they are definately a "driving experience." Every time I see one makes me want another.
I have no doubt your mate will enjoy owning it.

Dax cobra with camber compensation, de-dion suspension 5-linnked, 28 powerlock final drive, 380 cubic inch edelbrock, stroker crank, 460 pounds feet torque and 460 BHP

That's the basics for now.
