Toon Hoon 4 - booking now

Toon Hoon IV will be a treasure hunt of approximately 90 miles [round trip] with a barbeque/meal afterwards. Looking to run the event on Saturday the eighth of September. Numbers will be limited; probably around twenty cars. We will also require a deposit [to be organised shortly - somewhere between 10 - 15 pounds.] towards the early evening meal.

As always there is no route discussion - all relevant details will be emailed out the week before.

Anyone travelling from further away who wishes to be involved, I'm sure we can organise bed space and therefore entertainment the night before.

There are prizes courtesy of Formula One and there will be a trophy! OOOOh!

The start and finish will be in Northumberland, somewhere in the Tyne Valley.

Please can we have a list of interested parties. This is most definitley a driver and co-driver event as single occupant cars will most likely miss clues.

The roads are great driving roads, picturesque and of a good quality so even fragile tvr's will find the route suitable.

Zebs, any ideas of whether this is a fast run? Because I jsut kept up on the Cobweb run but couldn't have kept up with TH1...

No, relatively sedate drive on some lovely roads - co-driver suggested because clues could be anywhere along the route, not impossible for one person, but certainly bloody hard.

Hi Stacey

You and paddy would be more than welcome.

It's nearly close enough to celebrate the Toon Hoons first birthday, so we may as well. Can't remember who first coined the phase Toon Hoon though, having started life as the minmax run thanks to Tom.
