Not aware of anybody in the North East but when I got my Golf done, I got a guy called Simon Coe fromm CCC to do it. I had to wait a couple of weeks until he was in the area but then just left the car with him for an hour or two. Can't fault him or his work in any way and excellent value as long as you're not after a custom map.

Just seen your profile. Simon's work may be a little bit tame for your beast. Jabbasport seem to have a good reputation. Bit of a hike though.

Jabba sort have done some work on this car they provided the IHI turbo and manifold the trouble they are miles away.

I will get in touch with the companies in the Midlands
thumbup

There is nothing wrong with my car at the moment but it is going to spend most of its time at the strip so is bound to break sometime so I any just looking for places I could get it repaired and uprated.

erm the only other place I can think of is Star performance which is up in scotland west I think ? not sure if that's nearer for you.

I can vouch for both MRC's work and stealth's for which I have seen both work well and consistently and who also dont piss you about.

Lets hope you dont need to use them and all stays well with your motor, for reference the guy I know who has had work done by mrc was running and IHI TT with nos giving a reliable 400 plus bhp, the stealth car is a friend of mine and also ran a IHI with bigger housing's some bastardised jabba parts but is now running a 18G Turbo which is well tried and tested with the scoob and evo crowd and gives similar results in power curves but more of it to the IHI but with a bit more top end.

The one limiting factor with the IHI is its upper limits really are around the 360bhp mark even with different intake housings etc they really dont like to push over 1.6bar and suffer from the wheel going bang with high sustained boost.

For reference you can use the turbo manifold from jabba on other turbos than the ihi with some small mods to it, so you could run a Garret disco potato or 18tg or other larger garret items such as a gt28rs or modified gt30 etc.
