Not stictly car related I know!! But does anyone know of any nice quiet pubs around Newcastle with pool tables.. seem to be rare these days.. anywhere out in the country around the airport??

why don't you try the snooker club on stowell street in town?

it has 9 pool tables I think, and the costs to join are negligible

...it's also open to 3am thumbup

Also could try hustlers on northumberland street, although it shuts at 11 and its 70p a game, Not exactly that quiet either.

The Leazes inn has pool tables and a full size snooker table. Its just outside of town.

Stereo on the Quayside have a pool table around the back and also serve a lovely selection of beers

Sports cafe was full of them upstairs. I assume it hasnt changed.
