Mercedes servicing in Newcastle

Just bought an E500 for the misses :-) and it is due a service. I am looking for a good mercedes specialist in the region. I spoke with one in Middlesbrough yesterday but this is too far away for me. Does anyone know of one?

Theres a place in south shields / Bede estate. Just off Shaftesbury Avenue a friend uses for his Beemer But they also specialise in Mercs too . He has used them a couple of times says they know what their doing and dont pull your eyes out , Ex main dealer employees opened up for themselves i think .

I spoke with our regional aftersales director yesterday after posting on the forum and he knows the service manager very well at the Scotswood Road dealer. I also found out that Merc will only honour any rust problems if the car has full merc main dealer history. Given that the E series is know for rust, I might take a punt at the main dealer. It is a heavy lump of tackle so I may as well pay the difference to improve resale.
