Hi mate glad to here you have your car back!!
Im assuming by your username that your 22/23?? Im just about to turn 23 and on the look out for a graphite grey S2 exige with touring and performance packs or possibly an exige S depending on cash flow.
Just wondering who your insured through if you dont mind me asking? Admiral seems to be the best so far, my issue is I have zero no claims due to company car driving..
Any other advice greatly appreciated.
P.S If ive bolted right in with a crappy assumption thats wrong....I apopogise

Hi, yeah you got my age right. It wasnt me that your mrs spotted.
I am also with Admiral, i have put my mum on the policy which has reduced it a lot! I have 3 years no claims and am paying about £2000 which is actually half of what i paid the first year! (First year i had no no claims, i was on my mums insurance for the first 3 years of driving so the first insurer sent me a letter saying i have 3 years no claims which really helps to reduce it!
Good luck with your choice! If you have the money, i would go for the S, i test drove one while mine was getting serviced and it did feel a fair bit quicker off the mark, due to the addition of the low down torque i guess! But either way you cant go wrong! They are just the best cars!!

He showed me my old clutch... there are 3 clips on it in a kind of hook shape, 2 had snapped and got lodged into the workings, it looked like a nasty problem to have- hence not being able to get it into any gear properly!
So pleased to have it all sorted and back to normal now though!

Thanks for the info mate, Admiral seems to be about £2,200 for the S, thats with 0 no claims bonus, so not to bad.
Ive been driving a Civic Type R on company insurance for the last 3 years so ill try giving them a call to see if they take this into account...
We'll have to organise a mini meet when I eventually find the right one

Thanks Zebra, Yeah Ive been lurking around for a while reading posts, noticed you have regular meets. Try not to read too often though, its starting to get to me not being able to join in

Good news is Admiral will accept a letter from my employer and credit me with the No claims Bonus......

Thats real good news!
What colour are you after?
What colour are you after?
Probably Graphite Grey,

but if the right one pops up and its Black, Aspen White, Laser Blue or Orange Maybe (The mrs will hate me) I could be tempted to go for one of these colours.
I cant decide between the stealthy (As if you ever could be in a exige) dark look or the look at me everyone in my bright exige...but most propbably Graphite Grey though.
Edit: Appologies for the thread Hi-jacking Bob.....

Even if you haven't got your car before we meet next, come along and meet everyone anyway.

Thanks Zebra, I think I will come along. Its always good to fire a few questions out to people if knowone minds. My flat mates getting a VXT or a 111R. He seems to be swaying towards the VX though... So it seems there may be a fair bit of banter between us, if I have the Exige and he does get a VX.

holy crap, my car is not as fast as an exige but i'm only paying £585 for my policy... i'm 25 with 8 years NCB and 6 years performance car experience though and I know that that made a difference...

2 grand!!!
dear me...
if I had 2 grand...why, that would get me 2/3rds of a decent telly, eh Wedg1e?
