Not that THIII isn't long enough, or even international or hoon-ery enough, but I've just extended it to include a trip to the Nurburgring! Tuesday is a sort of half-day of rest and re-load the car, then booked on the 1730 ferry from North Shields to Amsterdam. Track time available from 1300-1930 on the Wednesday, should be good for a lap or ten. Night in a hotel, then returning on the 10th (1800 ferry) and arriving back in North Shields at 0900 on the Friday.

Anyone fancy joining me...?

It's a kind of consolation prize as I've just found out I can't go to Le Mans this year 'coz of work.

It's a trip Crowley and I have discussed - will have to think about though, cos I hadn't considered backing it onto THIII.

Ho no!! There's not enough space in my boot for my track wheels, jack, etc. My new front tyres have too much tread depth for track use.

My current support vehicle is a Cooper S with the back seats down but I don't think Carole would be too happy with anyone else at the helm. She doesn't even like lending it to me.

Warren - decision was taken that the roads in Ireland were not condusive to pleasurable driving, so the Scotland trip was organised - may still be spaces if you're interested; hoon would look fantastic with the big beasty along [or the skoda for that matter].

Just booking the Am Tiergarten Hotel now, only 65 euros/night which is pretty-damn-good I reckon, can't wait. Only 33 days to go 'till I get off this stupid boat and can drive again! can't wait.

Not much of a substitute but at least I have GT4 to keep me busy rolleyes

Just finished prepping the car - one cat removal tool, two bottles of tequila and some false number plates. All ready now!
See y'all later.

Ld1racing - potentially the only person who will get stopped for excess speed at the ring!

Have a good one mate - see you when you get back.
