I'm curious as I'd like to get some braided brake hoses fitted to my S4 and have the system bled to reduce pedal travel as well.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Have a word with Volksparts - 0191 378 0284 just outside Durham. I take both my Audi's there and have been more than happy.

Pitstop garage in Newcastle used to be a VAG specialist. Haven't used them for a couple of years but they used to be good.

Thanks for all the replies, very useful. Have plumped for Pitstop, seemed a decent bunch when I went there, the owner runs a B7 S4 which reassures me when we had a decent chat about modifying S4's and they got back to me with a quote when they said they would.

Unlike Prestige German Cars, still waiting for a call from them to book my car in again to fit my H&R Springs when they broke their spring compression clamp on the first attempt of fitting. And that was May 2006!

Do you have contact details for Pitstop, nothing listed on Yell.com?

I have previous history with prestige german cars
I don't want to be too derogatory here (teds rules)
enough to say I wouldn't recommend them,
perhaps if you check them with south tyneside trading standards you may make up your own mind.

Ah, but its associated with the BMW owners club NE so it must be good....... angel

I wouldn't recommend them either.

As for pitstop, acces via Quayside is still closed so you have to come from Market Street or Silver Street (??) direction and down the bank and it's first on right past Sachins restaurant, right on the corner.
