Having a real problem chaps. I upgraded the pads and hoses on my BMW and the difference in bite and feel was remakable, much better than stock. So decided to do the same with my Audi however the discs were shot so I upgraded all four discs and pads with braided steel hoses and DOT4 fluid fully expecting to notice a real improvement over the relatively spongey standard brakes.

After considerable £expenditure£ all items were fitted and the improvement was......................not remotely better or improved. It feels like nothing has changed - really a bit peeved!!!

Now I'm starting to wonder if the servo is broke or something else aint quite right. Can anyone guide me towards a specialist/expert who maybe able to help.

Cheers

If it has ABS, have you bled the ABS unit properly?

Yeah, the entire system was bled a total of 3 times in an attempt to get some feel in the pedal, but no joy confused

I did'nt, my garage did so I presume they know what they're doing (I know presumptions can be dangerous but its all I've got)

Most modern ABS units need to be activated via a diagnostics computer to bleed the system properly.

I'd check with the garage that they did this.
