Does the radio/cd player keep you entertained at rush hour or do you have a little somthing you play in your own head to pass the time?

I've finally started to brush up on my German, I've wanted some German language CD's for a while and finally got them the other day and started listening to them on Sunday.

Or do you just go along the road nodding away to the music playing from your speakers.

Yeah, let the car infront get ahead then give it some beans in first gear, back off, queue much popping, banging and insane laughter

I'm getting bored on the Felling bypass, only another 6 months to go. Great.

I just stick the Happy Mondays on or a bit of Ian Brown and that helps.

At least I can't hear Mrs GMan

Is that the felling bypass going into town? I go the other way every morning and count my lucky stars that I'm not sitting in the HUGE que of traffic!

I had to be in Newcastle City Centre for a job at 7am this morning, so instead of my usual route along the Western By-Pass i decided to go up the Felling By-pass for a change...

If only i'd known about the roadworks....D'oh !

7am, That's when it's still quiet hehe Try doing the same route at 8am, fortunately, I'm in the opposite carriageway heading in the other direction.

After trying several routes to work, I've gave up! The car stays on the drive and I let the Metro take the strain - the car is now purely for pleasure. Just a shame I've not got a car that gives me any pleasure

I was on-site at Catterick for a year before i took my current job. Any day when i didn't fancy the A1 / A689 meant a back-roads run. Great fun
