I'd like to do a skid pan day, preferably on a proper skid pan, not the car cradle one's. Does anyone know of anywhere that does these in the NE? I've been told Pro Drive have a great skid pan but was wondering if there was anywhere a bit more local?

Thanks

Funnily enough there was an article on teletext north east news pages saying that Durham Police would be opening up there skid pan to some members of the public for a bit of tuition, no mention of the selection criteria though!cool

I recall Crowley creating his own skid pan (oil slick) in the Helmsley overflow car park.

Tockwith near York has one... or used to 10 years ago. Also Elvington does, link here

No selection criteria other than deciding if it's worth £100 (+VAT); seems a little steep.
