Son wants a scalextric, any old ones for sale?
Discussion
He's gone through all the boys toys in the past few years, micro-scalextric, trainsets, remote control cars and they have all lasted for a few months before they are either trashed or forgotten about.
He's now back to scalextric, surprisingly, because his mate has re-discovered his old track and is playing with it again. I just know that this fad will last until February and it'll be another box to put into the loft, so I'm a bit reluctant to go out and splash out hundereds on new track.
So, basically, does anyone have any old scalextric lying around I could buy off them? Doesn't have to be boxed or anything.
Cheers

Byff,
We have a 12 month old X3 set which is still in it's box. We were about to take it to the recycling centre because it is was much bigger than we expected. It was used once so should be mint, with the exception I believe that there is a ting bridge support missing.
It is still a current set with a retail of about £95. Would be good if it could go to a good home.
