I have had a couple of Esprits and another one would be my first choice if I can get a clean one,Ive seen a few in the last few weeks and the owners should be shot for letting their cars get into the sorry states they are in. I have seriously considered a Cerb, but reading so many horror stories about them is starting to put me off a bit now, I have also looked at the VX220's but they are'nt doing enough to make me go out and buy one. Like M3's too but they are a bit boring after 20 minutes or so. I also have to convince Mrs Couger who wants me to buy an Elise.. Nah

I am going to see a Focus RS at the weekend, anybody had any experience of them?
I have owned one from new, and i'm a moderator at the ford focus owners club forums, what do you want to know? (other than the camber influenced torque distribution which seems to make it a marmite car, which most people seem to know already)
I'm guessing this reply is a bit late

Hello Couger,
If it is definatley a "toy" you are looking for I may have a suggestion for you.
- you have..... "seriously considered a Cerb"
but are worried about the reliability;this is chevy V8.
- M3= "a bit boring."
can't be said of one of these.
- "Blue with white stripes down the middle apparently looks cool."
say na more.
- RS Focus= "bit to ordinary for me."
you won't park next to one of these in Tesco.
I don't know how to post pix so check my profile...and you can get a hard top if Mrs C likes her comfort.
David.

It was a very good car to be honest, well made and I couldnt really fault it, maybe a bit too well made to be honest, a bit generic and a bit too ordinary for me.

I can understand that, many people use them as an everyday car, which is a shame but at least it keeps the residuals up on concours ones like mine

If it is just a toy you're after then dmr's suggestion of a cobra rep strikes me as an excellent choice
