It's something I really fancy doing, especially after seeing some of this year's LM on TV. It's too early days yet to say I'll be going for def, just had a bairn and money may be an issue etc etc, but I'll consider it, and see how the posts go on here to see who's going. Nice idea like thumbup

I was on the verge of going this year but had other commitments in the end. Was going to tag along with a friend and his dads lot. Theres like about 6-7 of them all in exotic 360's, GT3 RS's, GT2s, turbos and modified skylines. Might end up going in 2007 though but its too early to say.

I'm trying to organise a group of friends to make the trip for next year if we can still get hold of tickets - not sure of numbers, but would probably be leaving thurs, return monday as don't want to have to take too many days off work.

If you don't mind the extra distance then Norfolkline were doing Dover-Dunkerque last year for £18 each way on a bike (didn't matter if you booked in advance or turned up 1 hour before the ferry left although I'd probably book for Le Mans).

Do it do it do it.
I did this year on a CBR600f and it was wonderful. Someone else to carry the tent and my bags, so all I had was a small bumbag, and a serious attitude. 1.7 leptons on the N138. Allegedly. Fantastic memories.

Unfortunately a lack of funds and increasing interest rates mean I'll be a no show this year I'm afraid. I aim to make up for a lack of hols this year, by expediting next.

Cheers, hope you enjoy it!

its going to have to wait till next year for me too... i had already decided i couldn't afford it, but now i have been roped into cycling from London to Paris to raise money for charity on the same dates, so its a definite no.

I'll be going down but probably on the Wednesday as it sounds like I'll be helping the SELOC boys set up.
